Apologies for not blogging for a while, things have been a bit busy here in the office and I lapsed.
Day 15 of the blogging challenge saw me look back on some of my previous posts and to see what would be better. I took a good look and was quite happy with what I’d written, but still dissected some and I’m sure that they could still be improved.
Day 16 and I’m supossed to promote another #30DayBlogger. I did a search as asked on Twitter but didn’t get any results, so if you are a #30dayblogger let me know and I’ll take a look at your blog.
Day 17 and we’re now talking tags. I’ve been using tags since I started this blog but am now being more cautious as to which ones to use for each post. Tags are an important part of the posts as it gives the reader an idea of what the post is about and also a chance to check if there are other relevant articles.
I’ll try not to leave it so long between posts next time, but don’t forget if you want to see more about me and my business please visit our website.
Tag Cloud: blog development convallis software custom web free email
Just over six years ago I was working part-time in a local pre-school and my husband was working for a local software company as their development manager. The decision to set up Convallis Software was a difficult one for me, but an easier one for him. I was worried about taking the risk of losing a regular income to working for ourselves, but the pros outnumbered the cons and here we still are. I have learnt so much over this time about myself and about IT having not come from an IT background.
There have been many challenges over the years, including the recession, finding new clients and making a living, but through working hard and trying to remain positive that hard work is paying off with a great client base and interesting work. This is growing, which obviously when in business that is what you want to do.
As the client base and workload has increased so has our team. There are now three of us, having employed a web specialist after training him via the apprenticeship scheme.
Our next goal is to continue to grow and prosper, and who knows where it will take us, I just hope that I remain grounded and true to myself and continue to offer our customers the best we can.
If you would like to be part of our growth and would like to find out how my business can help you and your business please check out the website or contact us with your enquiry.
‘Helping your business to do more business’
You may notice that the title of today’s blog is a familiar song, originally recorded by Journey but made famous more recently by the TV show Glee.
Why have I chosen this as my blog title? Well my problem is that I don’t always believe in myself so by writing this it might help me on my journey (get it?!) to believe in myself more. I have read books, been to seminars etc about being more positive etc, but there are still times when I just am not, sometimes from lack of confidence, sometimes for other reasons. Writing this blog has helped in some ways to address this, I certainly wouldn’t have admitted this publicly before now, but it’s a long term process and I will have good days and bad days. Today is a good day, positive things happening in the business, and happy in my personal life.
So I won’t stop believing in myself, if I want to do something I will be able to.
